Cookies and privacy policy
In the context of a website, cookies are small pieces of data that the website sends to the browser to be stored on the user's computer. The browser then sends this data back to the server on each further visit to the same website. Cookies are commonly used to distinguish individual users, store user preferences, etc. For example, services that require a login would not work without them at all.
Nowadays, cookies are also often used for statistical purposes, e.g. to record repeated accesses of users and the pages they visit, or in cooperation with advertising partners to target advertising relevant to a given user according to the number of pages visited, or to evaluate the success of campaigns.
European legislation and Czech legislation as well oblige us, among other things, to inform visitors to our website how we use cookies and to give them the opportunity to choose to what extent we can use them.
Cookies used on our websites can be divided into three categories.
- Necessary
These are cookies of a technical nature, necessary for the meaningful operation of the website. For example, even the cookie settings option form itself needs a cookie, so that the browser remembers this setting and does not have to ask over and over again. These cookies are in no way used to collect any personal data and we do not allow you to disable them. - Analytical
These cookies are used for statistical purposes, to measure traffic on our websites. We use two systems:- Google Analytics – the world's most widely used system for measuring website traffic.
- Matomo – local (on our server) installation of a popular statistical system, designed only for measuring our websites.
- Promotional
Cookies from external promotional campaign systems such as Facebook Pixel, Seznam Sklik, etc. which track visitor behaviour across sites. We only use them on certain websites or for a limited period of time.
There are currently no such services used on this site.
